Kool Keith is an all-time hero of mine. Untrackable, funny, flamboyant, and clearly out of his mind (in a nice way).
His hallucinating lyrics, dozens of aliases he uses and avant-garde beats made him into a cult-figure.
The first CD I ever bought in my life was ‘Sex Style’….my mother probably wouldn’t aprove.
I saw him live twice, the last time on the Dour festival, he used the video-backdrop to project a Pornflick during the whole performance.
This clip clearly shows the strange (but brilliant) sense of humor Kool Keith has.
(My all time favourite Kool Keith lyric: “Pissin’ in ya face, pissin’ in the right place.”)
